Self-settlers are people, who came back to the Exclusion Zone after evacuation and have been living there until today. Part of the income from Chernobyl VR Project app went to buy aid for them. Today we present a video summarising the aid action.
135 people in 11 villages spread all over the Exclusion Zone - this is the official number of self-settlers living there. Until we visited them, we could not beleve that this is how people could live in the 21st century. Without the Internet, TV, sometimes even electricity. With no access to the shops, pharmacies and hospitals, with no cars and public transport, in the woods far from civilization, usually left all by themselves. But if you ask them what do they miss in their lives, they usually mention food and medicine, since they don't think much about other things. When we first met them, we asked them what they needed, and after that we decided to help these people. We could not do otherwise.
Part of the income from Chernobyl VR Project app went to buy aid for the self-settlers. You can see in this video how it turned out.
We want to thank everyone who bought Chernobyl VR Project, because you are the ones who helped these people. Thanks to you a smile appeared on their faces again.
